For Hot Climates
In hot climates, TriReduction is often used after the peels. This contains copper peptides and high levels of squalane and octyl palmitate as skin protectants.
Use pure, non-irritating Squalane as an alternative moisturizer.
For several years I've used Alpha Hydroxy Acids for skin care and to remove fine lines and wrinkles and for clarity. I found it was quite effective; but there were two problems - it was irritating to my skin and still left little lines around my eyes. I still use Alpha Hydroxy Acids but now I put Alpha Hydroxy on first, then cover it with Protect & Restore®. Protect & Restore® is very soothing and stops the irritation and I no longer get skin redness. I've noticed a firming of skin and a smoothing out of fine lines. Protect & Restore® also makes a nice base for makeup.

After spot treating my age spot with 10% glycolic acid and SRCPs for two months and reading about some chemical peel procedures, I got inspired to improvise a spot treatment using corn/callous remover to remove my sun spot on my cheek. It took a leap of faith to experiment strong acid on my face because I only use Exfol Serum (2% salicylic acid) in my regular skin care regimen. The 10% glycolic acid is used only to spot treat the sun spot.
It took only three applications of 12.6% salicylic acid or 1.5 days to peel and reveal the healthy pink skin underneath. I have no raised or pitted scar. I am so happy. Today is the 7th day, and I am dealing with only a slight post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Soy salicylic acid cleansers/Exfol/SRCPs/BHOs and vitamin E oil regimen gives me a wonderful even skin complexion and smooth skin texture...

Normal facial chemical peels can produce severe irritation that leads to scars and prolonged redness. Simple coverings such as petrolatum do not stop the development of redness and inflammation.
Peels followed by cortisone used as an anti-inflammatory often defeat their purpose since the cortisone inhibits skin repair. So while the peels remove blemishes and dead skin, the subsequent skin rebuilding is inhibited. This can produce very thin skin.
SRCPs have powerful anti-inflammatory actions and help reduce scarring. But unlike cortisone which inhibits skin repair, the copper peptides stimulate skin repair. Copper peptides also inhibit the action of interleukin-1, a hormone that increases skin damage after injury, and TGF-beta-1, the scar-forming protein.
If you have very sensitive skin, always start with our mildest copper peptide: Super GHK-Copper Cream.
If SRCP product is too strong, you can dilute with water. Take 1-2 drops of the SRCP serum and add 3-4 drops water. To dilute a cream, base the skin first with Emu Oil. Then lightly apply the SRCP cream. The biological healing oil will slow down the rate of penetration, making the copper-peptide product milder.
Use ONLY a light application. Too often, people think more is better, but when the skin is in a fragile state it is imperative to go slowly.
Typical results take approximately 4-6 weeks of consistent use.
